Donald Trump meets with construction workers before ‘hush money’ trial in Manhattan


Former President Donald Trump made an early-morning visit to a Manhattan construction site Thursday where he was seen shaking hands with workers before returning to court for his “hush-money” trial, which is entering its third day.

Video shared on social media showed Trump mingling with construction workers at 48th St. and Park Ave, near the JP Morgan Chase building, telling them he has “a big case today.”

The former president told the workers “a president has to have immunity” before the crowd erupted into chants of “USA! USA!”

He arrived around 6:30 a.m. and his visit lasted about 15 minutes, according to CBS News.
